Text
When the name of the person intended to be insured is specified in an insurance policy, it
can be applied only to that person's own proper interest. Every stipulation in an insurance policy
for the payment of loss regardless of whether the person insured has or has not any interest in
the property insured or that the policy is proof of such interest is void.
