Text
The commissioner shall adopt by rule criteria for the accreditation of courses for continuing
or prelicensure education. Applications for accreditation of any course offered in this state for
continuing or prelicensure education must be submitted to the commissioner within the time
prescribed by rule and on forms prescribed by rule and with a fee of fifty dollars. The advisory
task force shall recommend to the commissioner whether any course satisfies the criteria for
accreditation and the number of credit hours to be assigned to the course. The commissioner
shall make a final determination as to accreditation and assignment of credit hours for courses.
