§ 26.1-06-13 — Offenses - Penalties - Statute of limitation

North Dakota·Title 26.1 Insurance·Ch. 26.1-06 Takeover Bids for Domestic Companies

Any person who knowingly makes or causes to be made any false statement with respect to
any matter subject to this chapter or commits any act declared unlawful by this chapter and any
offeror who makes a takeover bid which does not comply with this section and sections
26.1-06-02, 26.1-06-03, and 26.1-06-04 is guilty of a class A misdemeanor. Prosecutions under
this section must be instituted within two years from the date of the offense.
