Text
Each takeover bid made in violation of the provisions of this chapter constitutes a separate
offense. The commissioner may request the offeror to rescind the bid and to make restitution to
the offeree, and if the offeror complies with the request no penalty may be imposed on the
offeror on account of that illegal takeover bid.
