Text

The commissioner shall examine the articles of incorporation and any amendments to determine if the articles and any amendments are consistent with the constitution and laws of this state. The commissioner shall examine the company to ascertain whether it has complied with the requirements of law according to the nature of the business proposed to be transacted by it. If the commissioner is satisfied by the examination that the corporation has complied with the law, the commissioner shall deliver to it a certified copy of the articles of incorporation or amendments to the articles of incorporation and a certificate stating the corporation has complied with all requirements of law.
