This chapter does not relieve the responsibility of the eligible individual, the eligible
individual's estate, or responsible relatives of the expenses for care and treatment as provided
in chapter 25-04 or 50-06.3. The provisions of chapter 25-04 or 50-06.3 applicable to the
expenses of care and treatment of patients apply to this chapter.
