Text
1.After consultation with the environmental review advisory council the department, by
rule, may classify air contaminant sources according to levels and types of emissions
and other criteria that relate to air pollution, and may require reporting for any class.
Classifications made under this subsection may apply to the state as a whole or to any
designated area of the state, and must be made with special reference to effects on
health, economic, and social factors and physical effects on property.
2.A person operating or responsible for the operation of air contaminant sources of any
class for which reporting is required shall make reports containing information the
department deems relevant to air pollution.
