Text

Administrative procedure and judicial review. Each lodging establishment and assisted living facility shall install smoke detection devices or other approved alarm systems of a type and in the number approved by the department, in cooperation with the state fire marshal. The department, in cooperation with the state fire marshal, shall adopt reasonable rules governing the spacing and minimum specifications for approved smoke detection devices or other approved alarm systems. The department and state fire marshal shall provide all reasonable assistance required in complying with the provisions of this section.
