Text
The president of an institution under the control of the state board of higher education may
adopt policies, procedures, and directives for the institution, with input but no authoritative
control from faculty and others through shared governance. The commissioner of higher
education and the state board of higher education may overturn or amend the president's
policies, procedures, and directives.
