1.In addition to any contracts under section 15-10-28.2, the state board of higher education may contract with Kansas state university to provide an opportunity for up to five eligible students to enroll in the veterinary medical education program at Kansas state university.
2.Eligible students must be residents of this state and must have been selected for enrollment by an admissions committee consisting of one faculty member appointed by the vice president for agricultural affairs at North Dakota state university, one veterinarian practicing in this state, one member of the legislative assembly, and one livestock producer, all of whom must be appointed by the legislative management, and the chairman of the admissions committee at the Kansas state university school of veterinary medicin
