§ 14-03-18 — License to and marriage of intoxicated person prohibited
A license for marriage may not be issued to anyone under the influence of intoxicating liquor
at the time of making application therefor. No marriage ceremony may be performed when
either or both of the contracting parties is under the influence of intoxicating liquor or any
narcotic drug.
