Text
The sheriff shall notify the bureau of criminal investigation of any civil protection order
issued against an individual in the sheriff's county under chapter 14-07.7 within twenty-four
hours of issuance. The notice must include any information required by the bureau of criminal
investigation. The law enforcement agency shall enter the order into any information system
available in the state that is used to list outstanding warrants for one year or until the date of
expiration or termination as specified in the order. The order is enforceable in any jurisdiction in
this state.
