Text
The county manager in counties adopting a short form of county managership and the
director of public works in counties adopting a county manager form of government shall have
charge of the construction and maintenance of county roads and bridges, county drains and
other public works, public buildings, storerooms, warehouses, and such equipment and supplies
as the board of county commissioners may authorize. The manager or director shall perform
such other duties as the board may prescribe.
