Text
Before entering upon the duties of office, the county manager of a county adopting any form
of county managership shall furnish the county a bond in the penal sum of not less than ten
thousand dollars. In counties adopting a county manager form of government, the director of
finance shall furnish a bond in the penal sum of ten thousand dollars and if the county manager
serves as the director of finance, the manager shall furnish a bond in the amount of twenty
thousand dollars. The board of county commissioners may fix bonds in excess of these
amounts and may require bonds of other county officers.
