Text
Any officer or employee appointed by the manager of a county adopting any form of county
managership, or upon the manager's authorization, may be laid off, suspended, or removed
from office or employment by the manager and, in a county adopting a county manager form of
government, by the officer or head of the department in which such officer or employee is
employed.
