Text
In counties adopting a short form of county managership, the functions imposed on the
recorder shall be performed, except as otherwise provided in this chapter, by or under the
direction of the county manager. In counties adopting a county manager form of government,
such functions, except as otherwise provided in this chapter, shall be performed by or under the
direction of the director of finance.
