§ 11-06-04 — Election - Notice - Ballot - Returns

North Dakota·Title 11 Counties·Ch. 11-06 Changing County Lines
The notice of an election to change the boundaries of a county shall contain a description of the territory proposed to be transferred, the name of the county from which, and the name of the county to which, the transfer is intended to be made. The notice shall be posted as required for general elections. The ballot to be used at the election shall be in substantially the following form: Shall ____________ (describe the territory) be transferred from the county of ________________ (name county) to the county of ________________ (name county)? Yes ☐ No ☐ The result of the election shall be reported to the secretary of state.
