North Dakota Statutes
§ 10-15-18 — Quorum
A quorum at a member meeting shall be ten percent of the first one hundred members plus
five percent of additional members, present in person or represented by delegates. Unless the
bylaws fix a larger number of members to constitute a quorum, a quorum shall never be more
than fifty members nor less than five members, or a majority of all members, whichever is
smaller. Members represented by signed vote may be counted in computing a quorum only on
those questions as to which the signed vote is taken. The provisions of this section shall not
apply to an electric generation or transmission cooperative as provided in subsection 10 of
section 10-13-03 and a quorum for such cooperative at a meeting of its membership shall be as
provided in its bylaws.
