(a)Members of the Board of Governors shall be elected as follows:
(1)Twelve members of the Board of Governors shall be elected by resolution of the House of Representatives. Six members shall be elected at the regular legislative session in 2025 and every two years thereafter.
(2)Twelve members of the Board of Governors shall be elected by the Senate. Six members shall be elected at the regular legislative session in 2025 and every two years thereafter. In electing members to the Board of Governors, the Senate shall select from a slate of candidates. The slate shall be prepared as provided by resolution of the Senate.
