(a)CTE Grade Expansion Grants. - Career and Technical Education Grade Expansion grants shall be awarded under the Program for the purpose of expanding career and technical education (CTE) programs by prioritizing the inclusion of students in sixth and seventh grade through grant awards provided to selected local school administrative units and charter schools for up to seven years. Grant funds shall be allocated to selected local school administrative units and charter schools as competitive grants, to the extent funds are available, of up to one million dollars ($1,000,000) for the 2018-2019 fiscal year and subsequent fiscal years.
