85-8-616 . Correction of omissions. Omission to assess benefits, to assess for construction, to make additional assessments, to make assessment for repairs, to award damages to any one or more tracts of land or easements in a drainage district or to assess benefits, assess for construction, assess for repairs, or make additional assessments against any corporation which should have been assessed does not affect the jurisdiction of the court to confirm the report or to render the benefits assessed, the assessments for construction, additional assessments, or assessments for repairs against other lands or assessments against any corporation voidable; but the commissioners of the drainage district shall thereafter, as soon as they discover the omission or as soon as they have notice thereof,
