69-8-311 . Cooperative utility -- electricity supply service -- exemption.

(1)A local governing body shall establish the price for electricity supply service offered by a cooperative utility.
(2)Except as otherwise provided in the universal system benefits program pursuant to 69-8-402 , a cooperative utility is exempt from the provisions and requirements of this chapter.
