7-7-4303 . Term of refunding general obligation bonds.

(1)Except as provided in subsection (2), when bonds are issued for the purpose of refunding bonds theretofore issued and outstanding, such bonds shall not be issued for a longer term than 10 years.
(2)If the unexpired term of the bonds to be refunded shall be more than 10 years, the refunding bonds may be issued for such unexpired term.
