§ 7-7-2272 — Cancellation Of Bonds And Coupons

7-7-2272 . Cancellation of bonds and coupons.

(1)(a) All bonds and interest coupons paid by the county treasurer from time to time must be canceled by the treasurer, and after cancellation, the treasurer shall deliver the bonds and coupons to the county clerk, with a report showing the numbers of bonds and the amounts paid as principal and interest. The county treasurer shall enter on the record of the registration of the bonds the date of the payment of the bonds and the coupons attached to the bonds.
(b)The county clerk shall exhibit the bonds and coupons, with the report, to the board of county commissioners at its next regular meeting.
(2)(a) When any bonds have been or are purchased with any sinking and interest fund money under the provisions of 7-7-2270 , the bonds, with attached
