33-7-125 . Penalties.

(1)A person who makes a false or fraudulent statement in or relating to an application for membership or for the purpose of obtaining money from a benefit in any society is guilty of a misdemeanor.
(2)A person who solicits membership for, or in any manner assists in procuring membership in, any society not authorized to transact business in this state is subject to an administrative fine, imposed by the commissioner of insurance, of not less than $25 or more than $500 for each violation.
(3)A person convicted of a willful violation of, or neglect or refusal to comply with, any provision of this chapter for which a penalty is not otherwise prescribed shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000 for each violation and not more than $10,000 for all related viol
