50-60-720 . Violation -- misdemeanor -- injunction.
(1)Any person taking part or assisting in the design, construction, alteration, operation, maintenance, repair, inspection, installation, or testing of elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, or other equipment subject to the provisions of this part who knowingly violates any provision of this part, the applicable building code, or any lawful order of a state, county, or municipal building official is guilty of a misdemeanor.
(2)A violation described in subsection (1) may be enjoined by a district court judge in the judicial district where the violation occurs.
(3)Subsection (2) is governed by the Montana Rules of Civil Procedure.
