81-6-210 . Discontinuance of district -- fee saved. Upon receipt of a petition or petitions signed in the same number and in the same manner as the petition to form the district, the board of county commissioners shall discontinue the cattle protective district. The discontinuance of the district does not affect any fee imposed prior to the receipt of the petition or petitions, and the proceeds of any fee imposed must be used for the purposes of this part. A district or portion of a district may not be discontinued as long as there is any outstanding indebtedness against it.
