§ 7-6-208 — Substitution Of Deposit Security

7-6-208 . Substitution of deposit security.

(1)Any bank, building and loan association, savings and loan association, or credit union pledging securities as provided in 7-6-207 , at any time it deems advisable or desirable, may substitute like securities for all or any part of the securities pledged. The collateral so substituted shall be approved by the governing body of the county, city, or town at its next official meeting.
(2)Such securities so substituted shall at the time of substitution be at least equal in principal amount to the securities for which substitution is made. In the event that the securities so substituted are held in trust, the trustee shall, on the same day the substitution is made, forward a receipt by registered or certified mail to the county, city, or town and
