61-6-201 . Liability of owner for negligence of employee driver. The owner of a vehicle running or traveling upon any highway or road for the conveyance of passengers is liable for all damage to person or property done by any person in the owner's employment as a driver while driving the vehicle, whether done willfully or negligently or otherwise, in the same manner that driver would be liable.
