20-6-505 . Opening a junior high school when high school district operates a county high school.
(1)Whenever the trustees of an elementary district and a high school district operating a county high school have formed a joint board of trustees under the provisions of 20-3-361 , such joint board of trustees may open a junior high school under the provisions of this section.
(2)When the joint board of trustees resolves to open a junior high school, they shall order an election under the provisions of 20-20-201 to submit a proposition to the electors of the district to approve or disapprove the trustees' resolution to open a junior high school.
