90-5-202 . Board member appointed by governor -- compensation. The governor shall appoint the board member. The member shall report directly to the governor. The member, with the approval of the governor, may designate an alternate to represent the state when the member is unable to do so. The member or the alternate may not receive compensation in addition to salary for services as a member of the board but must be reimbursed for travel expenses, as provided for in 2-18-501 through 2-18-503 , incurred in the performance of duties.
