72-5-638 . Transitional provision.
(1)This part applies to guardianship and protective proceedings begun on or after October 1, 2009.
(2)Sections 72-5-601 through 72-5-606 , 72-5-624 , 72-5-625 , 72-5-629 through 72-5-631 , 72-5-636 , and 72-5-637 apply to proceedings begun before October 1, 2009, regardless of whether a guardianship or protective order has been issued.
