§ 5-5-403 — Trial Of Impeachments

5-5-403 . Trial of impeachments.

(1)Impeachment shall be tried by the senate, the court of impeachment, sitting for that purpose. The senators shall be upon oath or affirmation to do justice according to law and evidence.
(2)The court has jurisdiction to try impeachments presented by the house of representatives.
