18-5-417 . Vending machine special revenue account -- purpose -- statutory appropriation.

(1)There is a vending machine account in the state special revenue fund to the credit of the department of public health and human services.
(2)The department shall collect a percentage of income from vending machines on federal property and state property that are not operated by a blind vendor and deposit it in the account. The percentage of income to be collected may be established by the department through its authority under 18-5-414 .
(3)Money deposited in the account is statutorily appropriated, as provided in 17-7-502 , to the department and may be used only for the purposes of this part in a manner consistent with federal law.
