§ 90-4-305 — Information Obtainable By Governor

90-4-305 . Information obtainable by governor.

(1)The governor may obtain information on a regular basis from energy resource producers, suppliers, public agencies, and consumers and from political subdivisions in this state that is necessary for the governor to determine the need for energy supply alert and emergency declarations. The information may include but is not limited to:
(a)sales volumes by customer classifications other than for petroleum products;
(b)forecasts of energy resource requirements for the particular type of energy involved for a period not to exceed 2 years; and
(c)inventory of energy resources and reserves available for use in meeting a shortage in a particular energy source.
