87-4-702 . Possession of game by merchants, hotelkeepers, or restaurant keepers.

(1)Except as provided in subsection (2), it is lawful for any merchant, hotelkeeper, or restaurant keeper to have in the person's possession, offer for sale, or sell game birds and game if the game or game birds are not killed in Montana.
(2)A merchant, hotelkeeper, or restaurant keeper may not offer for sale or sell any grizzly bear or any head, hide, teeth, claws, or other part of a grizzly bear.
