§ 7-4-4114 — Municipal Executive Officers
7-4-4114 . Municipal executive officers.
(1)The executive officers of a city or town are the mayor, the marshal (if there is one), and such officers as the council may provide for assessment; collecting, auditing, safekeeping, and disbursing the revenue; and keeping the records and journals of the city or town.
(2)The mayor is the chief executive officer of the city or town.
