Text
7-4-2815 . Surveys involving land in two counties.
(1)Any person owning or claiming lands which are divided by county lines and wishing to have the same surveyed may apply to the surveyor of any county in which any part of such land is situated. On such application being made, the county surveyor must make the survey, which is as valid as though the lands were situated entirely within the county.
(2)When land the title to which is in dispute before any court is divided by a county line, the court making an order of survey may direct the order to the surveyor of any county in which any part of the land is situated.
