7-4-2301 . Authorization to consolidate county offices.

(1)Except as provided in subsection (2), the board of county commissioners of any county may in its discretion consolidate any two or more of the offices named in 7-4-2203 and combine the powers and the duties of the consolidated offices.
(2)The office of the justice of the peace may not be combined or consolidated with any other office other than another justice of the peace office.
