10-4-116 . Limitation on liability.

(1)Except as provided in subsection (2), a provider and its employees, directors, officers, and agents are not liable for death or injury to any person or for damage to property as a result of developing, adopting, establishing, participating in, implementing, maintaining, or carrying out duties involved in or related to a 9-1-1 system or to emergency communications or 9-1-1 calls, including but not limited to the identification of phone numbers, addresses, or names associated with a person involved in an emergency communication or 9-1-1 call.
(2)The immunity granted by subsection (1) does not extend to liability resulting from gross negligence, willful or wanton misconduct, or an intentional tort.
