§ 7-34-2204 — Use Of County Property And Funds For Health Care Purposes

7-34-2204 . Use of county property and funds for health care purposes.

(1)The board of county commissioners may, under the limitations and restrictions prescribed by law, lease county buildings, equipment, furniture, and fixtures for health care facility purposes, with full power of lessor except as limited in this section, upon the terms and conditions that the board may decide upon. The rentals received under the lease or leases must be paid into the general fund of the county.
(2)(a) A lease may not be made for a period longer than 5 years except in a case in which bonds are to be or have been issued in accordance with 7-34-2411 , in which case the lease may extend until the maturity date of the bonds sold and in which case bond payments may be made from lease receipts.
