7-32-4123 . Nonparticipation.

(1)The members of a city or town police protective association may by a vote of three-fourths of the membership cease the participation of all the members in the provision of group life insurance through salary deductions. Salary deductions for payment of group life insurance premiums and representation may not be made by the city or town of the nonparticipating association. An association may resume participation by a vote of three-fourths of the membership of the city or town police protective association.
(2)Notice of nonparticipation or resumption of participation must be provided to the governing body of the city or town and to the Montana police protective association.
