87-3-237 . Warm water fishery enhancement account -- source of funding -- use of account.
(1)There is an account to the credit of the department in the state special revenue fund established by 17-2-102 to be known as the warm water fishery enhancement account.
(2)There must be deposited in the account:
(a)a one-time transfer of money from the department in the amount of $1,000 to start the fund;
(b)proceeds from voluntary contributions.
(3)Money in the account may be used only to fund the enhancement of warm water fisheries and habitats in Montana.
(4)The department shall adopt a process that allows individuals to donate money to the warm water fishery enhancement account by means of a voluntary contribution. Each individual must be provided an opportunity to contribute to the accou
