76-3-403 . Monumentation.
(1)The board of professional engineers and professional land surveyors shall, in conformance with the Montana Administrative Procedure Act, prescribe uniform standards for monumentation and for the form, accuracy, and descriptive content of records of survey.
(2)It is the responsibility of the governing body to require the replacement of all monuments removed in the course of construction.
