7-3-1209 . Resolution declaring creation of consolidated government.
(1)At the first meeting of the commission whose members are first elected under the provisions of this part, the commission shall adopt a resolution reciting the filing of the petition provided for in 7-3-1204 , the ordering and holding of an election as requested in the petition, the result of the election and the holding of an election for and the election of the members of the first commission, and the name and designation of the consolidated municipality. This resolution must be in duplicate and signed by all of the members of the commission and also entered at length on the journal of the commission.
