61-3-481 . Generic specialty license plates -- restrictions on use.

(1)Generic specialty license plates may be issued by the department in conjunction with the registration of any motor vehicle except a motorcycle or a quadricycle. The department may not issue generic specialty license plates without the motor vehicle having been registered.
(2)Generic specialty license plates may be used only as the official license plates for a motor vehicle.
