19-20-202 . Per diem and expenses of board members. The members of the retirement board shall serve without direct or indirect compensation except that each appointed member shall receive compensation as provided in 2-15-122 and travel expenses as provided in 2-18-501 through 2-18-503 for each day in attendance at the meetings of the board or in the execution of duties as a member of the retirement board. All per diem and expenses paid under the provisions of this section must be paid from the expense account of the retirement system.
