§ 81-2-208 — Sale Of Condemned Carcasses -- Disposition Of Proceeds

81-2-208 . Sale of condemned carcasses -- disposition of proceeds. When the carcass of an animal ordered destroyed under this chapter is found on official postmortem inspection to be fit for human consumption, the owner must receive the net proceeds from the sale of the carcass. The proceeds must be deducted from the owner's claim against the state and county for the slaughter.
