7-2-2509 . Effect of name change on property and legal rights.

(1)All public records and property of the county existing under the former name shall be and become the public records and property of the county of the new name. In all conveyances, indentures, instruments, decrees of courts, and other records where the former name of the county occurs, said former name shall thereafter be construed to mean the new name of the county.
(2)All writs and processes in force and existence under the former name of the county shall thereafter be the writs and processes of and appertaining to the county under its new name. All bonds, undertakings, and sureties, alive and in existence and running to or standing in the former name of the county, shall have the same force, effect, and relation to the c
