Text
50-2-117 . Appointment of local health officer by department when not made by local health board.
(1)If a local health board does not appoint a health officer, the department may appoint a health officer 30 days after notification in writing has been given to the local health board.
(2)A health officer appointed by the department has the same authority as a health officer appointed by a local health board.
